Dog Training

The Cambridgeshire Canine Centre runs various training opportunities to support those that you attend at your own clubs.  We do not attempt to replace your own agility and/or flyball club, but attempt to offer a different type of training.  We agree with the slogan of “A trainined dog is a happy dog” and as such, any dogs that attend our sessions are urged to have had a degree of basic dog training.  For obedience and general training we recommend either Fenland Dog Training, based just outside Ely, or Charlies Dog Training School, based in Soham.

We run agility training sessions for competitive handlers at our field every Thursday evening with Toni Dawkins.  They must be pre-booked and are run on a monthly basis, with priority given to those that attend every session.  We do also hire the kit out, please contact us for more information.

Finally, as well as specific agility and flyball training sessions, we try and run some other special training sessions.  We hope to be able to provide sessions for gundog training, sheepdog training, clicker, rally etc.  If there is something you specifically want to have a go at, contact us and we’ll try and put an event on for you.
